*Please note that the salmons in the pond are released to the water in early September for spawning. The tour around the basin is accessible at all times.

In accordance with the museum standards in force in our institution, dogs are not allowed inside the museum buildings, except for assistance dogs.
That being said, we allow dogs on a leash in outdoor areas. If you wish to visit the heritage site with your dog, please let us know your needs, and we will inform you of the accessible areas.

The Matamajaw Museum welcomes families and ensures to offer an experience suitable for all ages! Designed in a fun and educational way, our youth trail allows children to discover the museum with their parents with content adapted to their age. Coloring and crafting activities are also available on request to enhance the experience and encourage the active participation of younger visitors.
The museum aims to provide a welcoming, inclusive, and stimulating environment for families.
Entry is free for children under 10 years old!
