Matinées Timbrées
The Matinées Timbrées are cultural activities offered to children. Centered around themes of fishing, history, and cultural heritage, kids spend the morning crafting various projects they can take home as souvenirs of their museum experience.
Conférences
The proposed conferences will focus on the themes of the museum, namely fishing, salmon, history, and cultural heritage. The speakers will present the results of their work within their field of expertise.
Bistro
The bistro offers you the opportunity to have an excellent coffee in the heart of a heritage site.
The bistro and its terrace are the perfect places to end your visit in style and enjoy a selection of beers from Gaspé microbreweries. The bistro also offers a variety of bubble tea flavors made with real tea.
The Fork Park
The Fork Park is an integral part of the classified heritage site and is a very lively place during the summer season.
At the meeting point of the Matapédia and Causapscal rivers, you can observe fishermen and fisherwomen at work in Pool 98 or simply stop for a moment to relax or have a snack
Room rental
Your event in the heart of a historic site.
The Guardian's House is the perfect place for your private events, receptions, meetings, Lac-à-l'épaule parties, business conferences, or corporate events throughout the year.
Our room is available at an advantageous price for a maximum capacity of 40 people. Our beautiful outdoor site is also available for capturing unforgettable photos.
To ensure the smooth running of your event, a range of services are available: tables, audiovisual equipment, WiFi access, etc.
- Room dimensions: 13 x 45 feet, ceiling height of 9 ½ feet.
- Rental cost: $200 plus taxes for a full day or $100 plus taxes for a half-day
